Vanessa exceeded every expectation. She was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat. Vanessa was absolutely exceptional, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment we met her, it was clear how thoughtful and experienced she is. Before even meeting Patrick, she had heard he loved Toy Story and surprised him with handmade cutout toys of Woody and Buzz. It was such a sweet, personal touch that immediately made him smile. She is incredibly punctual, professional, and communicative. She listened carefully to every instruction we gave her, executed everything perfectly, and also had the confidence and experience to take initiative when needed. On our first evening, I was worried that bath time after a long international flight would be difficult, but Vanessa saw everything we had prepared, confidently offered to take over, and handled it beautifully. Thanks to her calm approach and wonderful care, Patrick adjusted so well that he barely experienced any jet lag. Throughout our stay, she treated Patrick with so much care and attention. She made sure he was well fed, well hydrated, wearing sunscreen, getting good naps, and always happy and comfortable. We always felt completely at ease knowing he was safe, cared for, and genuinely enjoying his time with her. She also consistently went above and beyond. Without us even asking, she proactively picked up milk and juice for Patrick so we always had everything he needed. Those thoughtful gestures made our vacation so much easier. Vanessa cared for Patrick while we stayed at both Hotel Cipriani and Airelles Palladio, and she was completely comfortable navigating both properties and making the most of everything they had to offer. Most importantly, Patrick absolutely adored her. Even though they only spent a few days together, he was excited to see her every day, and that says everything about the warmth, kindness, and genuine connection she creates with children. If you’re looking for a babysitter in Venice who is warm, dependable, proactive, experienced, and truly exceptional, Vanessa is the one. We would absolutely book her again on our next trip to Venice.
